Bill has his breathing tube out and he is up.

Bill is not doing well... He had to have his breathing tube put back in last night and oxygen levels way down.

Just got back from Phoenix. Bill is doing better today. no fever. On different antibiotics. Good News his doctor believes knows what caused all this. He has a blood clot in his heart. Now, they are going to try to dissolve it.

I called down to the hospital this morning. Bill is still running a fever 101 and his oxygen level is 88. They took cultures yesterday his lung cultures grew some bacteria and so did the central line treating with antibiotics.

Today, June 27. Bill had a good day yesterday. Thanks to everyone who remembered him on his birthday. Today not so good has a fever, heart racing, panting for breathe, and low blood pressure. they think he has an infection in his central line. They changed it out. they think he has a blood cot in his heart but unable to get a clear picture to tell. Treating it any way. tonight taking more samples from his lungs. His lungs on the chest x-ray looks worst today then yesterday.

They took Bill off the nitro oxide on Sunday and lowed the percentage of oxygen going in to 50%. So far it is going good at Good Sam. And such concerned and loving nurses taking care of him. Today he is 24 and he will sleep through most of it. He is God's loving hands.

Bill oxygen level is up. yea. Now they are going to start lowing all the settings. Bill's Birthday is Tuesday June 26,2012 he will be 24. It was suggested to me that people send him birthday cards in the mail and when he gets the breathing tube out he see how many people care about him. Bill's oxygen levels are up today. When he got to Phoenix they hook he up nitro oxide (like laughing gas) it goes into his lungs and it keeps them inflated. They took him off all antibiotics and is on high dose of steroids and insulin to lower his blood sugars because steroids have made them go up. And lots of sedation and pain meds. If they prick him with a needle he don't feel it. I was in Phoenix yesterday and this morning and home tonight and tomorrow morning back to Phoenix. I think I should write up Bill's Medical history and everything that lead up to his hospital visit so, I don't have to repeat one more time.

Bill got flown down to Phoenix around 6:30 pm and landed around 7:30 pm and was checked in Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center around to 8:00 pm. I will be head down there tomorrow.

He is not going to Phoenix to day. He is too unstable. They are not even going to move him to bathe or x-rays. The bed he is in inflates and deflates to move him so, he does not get bed sores. So, we are waiting. Got a statement from the pv hospital today for his stay there not including doctors was $107,000

They were going to transport Bill to Phoenix to but could not keep him stable enough to make the trip safely. so, they called it off. Since then he has been throwing up. Keep him in your prayers He has not had a good day.

Bill's heart tests came back his heart is fine.

Bill's lung doctor told me today he is getting worst. no duh! He called in heart doctor to look at Bill and order a whole bunch of heart tests. Here he is in YRMC West ICU.

 Last night they told me bill's right lung collapsed. Today is the day they finally go in with a scope and see what is going on @ 3pm.

 They are taking Bill to the Prescott hospital. Later today they are putting a scope down into his lungs and seeing if he has an obstruction. hopefully everything goes alright with sedation and incubation.

To my good friends who are concerned: My son Bill is back in the hospital Yavapai Regional East. His oxgyen saturation level on 35 liters of oxgyen is in the 80's not good. So far they have not incubated him.

Bill is spending the 5th day in ICU. Still no improvement. Oxygen levels falling sometimes to 65% and on 40 liters.
